Frank Carver didnot end friki topic???

Does any body know the reason why Frank Carver didnot end his building a simple friki web application.It a year long since.I think a little was left and he promised to complete it in his last topic.I am a new member and did not know where to ask this question?
Can somebody help?

Are you talking about JavaRanch Journal articles? Writing articles takes work, and the time that people have available to do work on a volunteer basis varies over time. Perhaps he got busy with work or family and didn't have time to finish the series. That's the way it goes sometimes.
