Hello All,
Has anyone heard of the BufferedFileReader class. It is supposed to be alot faster than the BufferedReader, however I can't seem to find the source code anywhere. This may be a dumb question but, is it built in or a custom class? Thank you.

Never heard of it. I googled for it and got one hit here. They show some impressive statistics for BufferedFileReader, but upon further browsing of that site, I see no mention of, say, java.nio or the java.util collections classes, so it must predate Java 1.2. I'd be surprised if the stats are valid anymore, especially since the java.nio classes were unveiled.
