Hey fellas and felines,
I got a question:
If upload a file via form to an application server, I can access the temporary file through request.getParameter("file") and the old filename by request.getParameter("file.filename").
BUT does every JavaAppServer understand this ".filename" or ".content-type"? is there a Java-only method to acquire the old filename and content-type from that tempfile?
Any pointers welcome...and if somebody knows the way to the java application server specs regarding these session-variables, she/he is gladly welcome to share that knowledge

Regards,
Dajin
