Hi,
I am orginally from India. I am here because of a short project in which my husband is engaged with. I have completed my Masters in Computer Applications from India but unfortunately dont have any work experience apart from an 5 month academic project from an s/w firm in India. I have got a work permit also. I am currently preparing for SCJP. I have seen that the job market is very bad now. Are internships in the form of projects available? Where can I find them? Are internships better than Certifications? Or should I just see whether I can change my field?
Thanks

Try the empolyment center of university. They serve student, so you have better chance to find internship, or entry level job.
