Directory Project (Urgent, pls help me)

Hello,
please, i need some help. I need to build a java directory program which allows for creation of folders and storage of working files into category folders on the Hard drive. Please, this is urgent, someone help me out with tips.
Also, which Drag and drop IDE can i download for use.

The java.io.File class has methods to list directories.

There's a javax.swing.JFileChooser class.

Drag and drop support is built into Swing.

You can sometimes move files in Java using File.renameTo(), or sometimes you just have to copy the data from one place to another.

Take a deep breath, and just take this one step at a time -- none of it is very hard.
