Hello yi ranches !
I've been asked to check out the jline library, but I can't seem to find a working API, and I just want to know it's good, and bad.
From the little that I did find, I understud that it's mostly good for input.
(I need output mostly), is this true ?

any info will be helpfull
Thanks a lot, Dave

This thing?

Never heard of it -- just found it with a Google. The first line of the manual says "JLine is a Java library for handling console input. It is similar in functionality to BSD editline and GNU readline. " So I don't think it will help you with output!

This site doesn't work well, and I would appreciate an example,
Hell, I just need to send out a simple output, and have it aligned correctly, as it is now, if some strings are longer that the rest, they ruin the alignment. and some more similar stuff

[Dave Jones]: This site doesn't work well

I can't tell - are you having some problem posting to this site, saloon.javaranch.com? Or are you talking about a problem with jLine?

I don't know anything about jLine; can't help you. But since your other thread was apparently a mistake which should have been posted here, I closed it for you. Here's the text:
