create a folder and choose that folder to save a newly created file

hi Friends
I have a problem .I want to create a folder and then choose that folder to save a newly created file . I am able to create the folder but i am not able to choose that folder to save the file.
Please help me with some code snippets

Let's say you have some binary data to save in a file located in a newly created folder:

byte[] someData = ...;
File newFolder = new File("someFolderPath");
newFolder.mkdirs();
File fileToSaveInNewFolder = new File(newFolder, "someFileToSavePath");
FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream(fileToSaveInNewFolder);
fos.write(someData);
fos.close();
