read and write documents on remote system

hi can any one help me to read and write files on a remote system within the same network

As to your question, what kind of access do you have to those machines? E.g., do they have shared drives?

For shared drives, you can just use the java.io.File to access them. If the shared drive uses the SMB protocol (i.e., if it's a Windows machine or a Samba server), you can use the JCIFS library. It mimics the java.io API, so it's easy to use if you're familiar with that.
