hi ,
i was trying to write a file in a share folder avilable in the local network.I am using JCIFS's SmbFile and SmbFileOutputStream for this but i get a access denied error though i have all permission over that share file.I was able to write the file if i give a share to its drive eg:
if that folder is in C:/share drive i was able to write files in to that folder by typing the following smb://domain;user assword3@server/c$/Share.
But its not working when i give the share folder directly(smb://domain;user assword3@server/Share)
can any one help me

What kind of help do you need? This is what it looks like your post says: when you specify the path correctly, you get access to the directory in the share, and when you specify it incorrectly, you don't get access.

No, i have my share folder "share" in C drive.i have full access rights to that share i was able to acess that "share" by typing //servername/Share in Run, but when i do it via java i get access denied. whereas when i use the default share of the C drive "c$" and access the "Share" it is working
