Hi all,

I'm building a web for publicing my songs and I'm a Java programer (Junior).

Any of you have any idea on how to implement an audio / Mp3 portal to Stream audio from my Tomcat Server ? Can I do it with Java ? I need to create an Applet ?

What I want to do is something like 10 years ago the MP3.com.

Thank you in advance for your help

Tomcat handles HTTP, which is a poor choice for streaming audio.
The Java Multimedia Framework supports streaming via RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) and RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol). Give it a look.
