Accessing files on a server  RSS feed

I have my code deployed on a websphere server. how can I access a file present on server (C:\abc\def\xyz.txt). I am able to read the path from properties file but getting a file not found exception. wat should be the path in properites file to access the file that is present on harddisk.

A frequent cause of FileNotFoundExceptions are permissions problems - if the account running the server does not have permissions to access any of the directories, or the file itself, that exception will be thrown.
