Question about Masters Degree

Hi all,
I am having a question about Masters Degree in Computer Science.
I already hold a degree from a german university in computer science and want to earn now a masters degree. One university offers two kinds:
1) Master of Science in Informatics
2) Master of Computer Science (M.Comp.Sc.)
Can anyone tell my how those two master's are valued in the states (I am from germany)?
What is the difference between M.Comp.Sc and M.Sc.(Comp.)?

Hallo !
I think Master of Science in Informatics is about "low level" computer science, like assembler programming and something related to electronics.
Master of Computer Science (M.Comp.Sc.) is a higher level, to be used with other areas, like bioengineering.

which university is that?
are both degrees two years?
maybe informatics is about information system and communication
like Master of Commerce in Information system
becuase Master of Science in Computer Science would have cover low level programming like asm ( if u want to take those papers)
becuase when I was in university my computer science papers included a course doing alpha assembly for entire semester.

here is the course listing that i tried to translate from German to English. I am sure some course titles are not translated correctly, but it should still be possible to get their meaning.
You have to know that Masters and Batchelors degrees are very new in Germany, as we always had (and still have) our own graduate system.
For both degrees you have basically the same course listing. For Master of computer science you have a few more introductorial courses to choose from and with the masters of science in informatics, you are obliged to choose at least one course from the group foundation of informatics. To me very odd rules.
The university that offers that has a good reputation in germany.

Well, I'm not quite clear on which classes are for which program, but overall they look solid. I don't see anything on e-commerce, building web sites, or other classes which will be dated within a few years.

Outright this statement seems absurd. But when you think about it, it can work in certain instances.
Let's say you have confidence in your programming and communication abilities and all that you lack is a degree, then I'd suggest you go for the easier one.
Most of the universities teach you stuff (concerning programming etc.)that you can learn on your own and many of them are already outdated in the industry or are overflowing with many people who are good at it.
