Can someone list the different ways to forward from one jsp to another.
I've been trying to usethe JSP forward action and a Request Dispatcher.
Please help or suggest some helpful links.
Thanks

First, the <jsp:forward page=""/> action translates to the RequestDispatcher mechanism in the resulting Servlet.
So the two ways accomplish the same thing. One way is more apt for HTML coders that do not know Java, and the other for Java programmers.
However, if it's a JSP, recommend the JSP forward action.
In both cases the info in the HttpSession and HttpServletRequest is forwarded.
I don't know of any other way of forwarding said data to another JSP unless in a very indirect sendRedirect() with possibly tons of parameter=value pairs appended to the URL.
