This week's book giveaway is in the Testing forum. We're giving away four copies of The Way of the Web Tester: A Beginner's Guide to Automating Tests and have Jonathan Rasmusson on-line! See this thread for details.
Let me reiterate my situation now. The server is a combination of IIS and WebSphere, which means the Http requests will go to IIS first and then be routed to WebSphere. Is it possible to get UID from IIS? I've seen some ASP code like: Request.ServerVariables("LOGON_USER") I guess "LOGON_USER" is a variable set in IIS. Is that the same thing as UID on my NT box? Does IIS have the similar function like WebSphere for the Basic Authentication? I am so confused with this topic. Xiang Yu
