I have a jsp page that when the user selects a link I want to open 2 windows (one is a report window and one is a menu window). How can I accomplish w/ JSP. I was trying to figure out something similar to the HTML 'target' attribute but have had no success..
- Thanks

"pjc",
The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp.
We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please edit your profile and select a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.

Sound like what you need is client side Javascript and not JSPs.
You can't manage things like the 'target' at the server side (where JSPs reside) since it is managed completely by the browser. (I had a look once, using the 'target' info doesn't send any extra data to the server).
What you will be looking for is having page one create an extra window that contains page 2.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
