I would like to ask for your help regarding JSP's. As a background, I was tasked to make a SessionManager module for our web-based system which should validate and moderate form-based login.
I am not too adept with the JSP technology. In fact, I am just learning the basics. I have made my servlet classes and I would like to test them.
What I would like to do is to be able to use the servlets inside my JSP's. I have attached my code (this is just a test code) for your reference. But when compiling, I get "unknown JSP translation error".
Thank you very much for any help that you can extend.

<jsp:useBean class="com.package2.ConnectionManager" id="connmgr" scope="session">
Connection con = connmgr.getConnection("test");
if (con == null)
out.println("Can't get connection");
