hi! all,
We ahve build one portal in jsp..
in some of pages we redirect page to some url...
that page displays some junk codes on the top of gui of that page as under:
HTTP/1.0 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/4.0 Date: Mon, 18 Feb 2002 10:56:41 GMT Content-Type: text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1 max-age: 0 Cache-Control: no-cache Cache-Control: no-store Pragma: no-cache Expires: -1 Cache-Control: private Servlet-Engine: Tomcat Web Server/3.2.3 (JSP 1.1; Servlet 2.2; Java 1.3.0; Windows NT 4.0 x86; java.vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.) X-Cache: MISS from pluto Proxy-Connection: close
Also fun is that it doesn't show this always..
When this junk data is not shown, browser displays error in script like ; or } or object expected..
We have tried using return; after redirect code, but problem remains..
Pl. Guide..
Thankx..

Instead of using res.sendRedirect(),try using
<jsp:forward> which will not show the url in the browser.
Hope this helps...
