These guys, Özil and Müller are like rockets and once the ball is out of the D ring as a result of the corner kick, they both turned that opportunity to a goal. I noticed this both during the England match and the Argentina match. Spain learned from that and never did the mistake.

hi ,

It was awsome semi between Germay and Spain.Germany seems to defend more unlike Spain that were damn attacking and did not let Germay get hold of match. And what a stunner header took by Puyol Awsome Man!!!
Really helped spain through to the Final .
It was pretty enjoyable match .
I had fun .....!!

I wish I could watched this match, I was working by this time and completely missed it.
I'm Brazilian and very disappointed with our elimination, not that I'm surprised, I wasn't expecting much from our team on this competition. Although I'm very proud of the Germany team which at least kicked the Argentina team out from the World Cup.

I'll be supporting for Spain team...Looking forward for the final match.

Out of 32 teams qualified for world cup, 30 got this honor and one more will get on this Sunday. I do not consider these teams have deficiencies or incapable. They all are good this why they qualified for world cup. Compare them with teams who could not qualify. They are better than them. It is tight competition when only few teams remain and sometimes few silly mistakes can make you go out of world cup. But they are still good.

It will be an ausome Final . Spain who is confident enough to be first time in the finals whilst The Netherlands go into the final on the back of six wins, and if they are victorious on Sunday, they will become only the fifth side to register a 100% record in WC finals so far.

Spain’s last seven World Cup goals have been scored by Barcelona players (Villa, Puyol and Iniesta), whilst seven of Holland’s last eight have been scored by players who left Real Madrid in 2009 (Huntelaar, Sneijder and Robben).quite strange isn't it?

Supporting spain as are equally deserving..

I wondered if (assuming they win) they would be the first team to have a 100% record in the competition as a whole? I can't think if any other team has recorded nothing but victories in the whole competition. Anyone know if there has been one?

I'd disagree with this. The world cup finals has never been the best 32 teams in the world. If it were, there a strong possibility there would be more European teams and teams like New Zealand wouldn't make it. Think of those that missed out that are arguably at least as good if not better than New Zealand (and Australia, and Algeria, and the USA etc.). Of the top of my head: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Ireland, Sweden, Turkey and more. The FIFA rankings are based on involvement in FIFA competitions, but its harder for a European team to make it to a FIFA competition than a team playing in the Oceanic group for example. FIFA has its own agenda for making the spread of teams in the world cup wider than just the best teams.

What I was trying to say is if Germany has lost semi-final, there is nothing to laugh on it. It is far better than countries like India in football. And it is not correct to laugh if any country lose, it hurts feelings of their fans.

This was good example that the match for the third place isn't superfluous. It was exciting to the last second. Literally, with Forlán's hit on the bar as last action. It was easily the best game i've watched in this tournament. I doubt that the final will even come close to that. The Spanish will govern any down any excitement.

Great performance by Uruguay. They are the best south american now and i bet that some Brasilians already fear for the world cup 2014 in Brasil that they'll repeat 1950, where the Urus beat Brasil. In Brasil. In the final.

And Germany? Germany will have a badass team in the next years. Müller, Özil, Kiesling

I think match between Ghana and Uruguay was more exciting than yesterday's match.

Yes last free kick by Uruguay hitting the bar was most exciting in the match.

    Congrats to Germany.

Good summary. Bad advertisement for football. And still, The Netherlands gave it away with the two 100% chances they missed.
