Hi,
I need to load dynamic values for width and height attributes for <jsp lugin>. I tried doing it as follows:
<jsp lugin width="<%= appWidth %>" height="<%= appHeight %>. When I do this, the Applet seems to load, but there is nothing showing on the screen. I do have all other attributes in <jsp lugin> linke <code> and <codebase>.
thanks,
Alex

This looks valid to me. What are the values of appWidth and appHeight? If these are 0 that woulkd explain what you are seeing. Look at the source for the html page. What doe it have for the height and width values?

If I use height="<%=appHeight%>", when I view the source code of HTML page, that's exectly what I see. Another words, server does not evaluate expression <%=appHeight%>. If I get rid off quotes, then I get an error: "Error. The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. (Check ServletExec.log for error messages)". I even tried using escape characters like /"<%=appHeight%>/"...nothing works. In addition to that, I cannot seem to locate the log file ServletExec.log.
thanks.

Ha, an answer to myself...I don't think this will work because <jsp lugin> is a XML based tag, so it expects quotes as per XML rule. So, if I don't put them, XML parser generates an error, and if I do put them, surver treats "<%=appWidth%>" as a value for my width attribute in <jsp> tag.
