I have a web program which is responsible to update a Sales Master table. Inside it, there are three buttons. On of them triggers another window for updating a Sales Detail table. Inside this child window, there are two buttons. One is a save button and another is a cancel button.
In order to avoid opening other windows from the mother window, how can I lock it and make sure users pressing the cancel button ? choisn2@hotmail.com
Thanks !

just write java script onblur event handle for child window in the way...
onblur="focus();"

and see the required result. after that if user wants to move on another window then he/she has to close down the child window other wise he/she just can't move away.

I tried onblur="foucs()"; , but didn't work
I have another script in the child window.
------------------------------------
function wOnBlur()
{
self.focus();
}
window.onblur=wOnBlur;
-----------------------------------
It can lock the mother window; however, I can't input any number in the text field. I can only press buttons.
