How to detect what file is writing to my system file  RSS feed

Hi,
Is there any method thruogh which i can detect which file/application is writing to a log file on my system in the background.
In other words, how to catch it with a java noose adilsec@yahoo.com

I don't know of any way to do this directly.
You might try making the file read-only - that should cause an exception when the process tries to write to it and the exception message might help.
