Everything worked fine under VAJ 3.5 until I decided to download and experiment with WSAD (WebSphere Studio Application Developer). There my JSPs where loosing track of images and some other weird behavior. Looking at some examples I noticed that the getContextPath() is used in the action tag of the form. Since the curiosity kills the cat I decide to follow the pattern and surprisingly everything works like a charm.
Is this the de-facto or the new paradigm or is this the right way of doing things? Has anyone else encountered the same behavior?
Thanks for inputs.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
