hi
ia m a little confused about the jsp property tags
<jsp:set property> in particular
When do we use the wild card'*'and what design benefits does it hold?
in the book ProfessionalJSP,(pg 182) in chap 5 they have a example about friuts to demonstrate the use of the above tag. i don't understand why we need to use redundant values there.
Please help me understand these.
Thanks
Taash

The wild card "*" can be used to set preperties as long as the properties have the same name (including case) as the input parameters. It saves you typing time. Just note that no action is taking if an input parameter is missing.
