Hello
I would like to use a common directory for images and other files across multiple JSPs
If I am using Tomcat or Orion, it does not matter which app server, is there any xml file that I should modify to point all images to say '/usr/local/images' in my JSPs
How would I do that?
I would appreciate any input
thnks

you could set a context variable in the web.xml file that gives this variable:
<context-param>
<param-name>image_loc</param-name>
<param-value>/usr/whatever/images</param-value>
</context-param>

and then each jsp could check the page context for using
getInitParameter("image_loc")
