Hi everyone,
I've got an interesting problem:
I've got three frames: top, left and center. A jsp that runs in the center frame submits a form to itself with javascript:
document.forms['form'].submit()
In the same step it changes the location of the left frame with javascript:
parent.left.location.href="left.jsp?action=something
The problem is that when I include the script that changes the left frame the session gets lost, and if I exclude that part the session works fine.
If anyone had the same problem and found the solution, please send a reply.
Thankz

"TheBoogie",
Thanks for participating here at the Ranch. However, the name you are using does not comply with the naming convention described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name (not fictitious monikers). Please log in with a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.
Sean

is the session state maintained with cookies or with a token? If you are using URL rewriting to maintain the session you will need to send that token in every frame as part of the request.
