Is there any performance benefit to be had from using a compilation time <@ inclue> as compared to a <jsp:include>?
Thanks

yes, but very unlikely to make any difference to most of us. If yuo are in a very high volume environment then there are also other things you can do to improve performance like avoiding using collections, precompiling your jsps so there's no startup time, using a cache, creating static pages and serving those until you've decided the data is stale (creating the pages as a seperate process from serving the pages), caching, etc
