I am using custom tag to display frequently required controls in my JSP pages. It works fine in NT enviroment but gives exception on running in Sun Solaris.
The java classes used for implementing the tag extends tagSupport class. Exception thrown in solaris enviroment is - " class should implement Tag " . tagSupport class implements Tag class so there is no need for explicitly doing this.
Is some other setting has to be done while executing on Solaris

This sounds like a class loading or JSP version issue in the application server. Can you tell us which version of which application server (and which version of Java, I guess) you are using on Solaris?

Out of interest, did you figure out what the problem was? Sounds peculiar and, as Frank said, a class loader/path/app server problem...
