Hey everyone,
we recently migrated from Oracle8i to Oracle9i. This means it's appropriate to also migrate the Oracle Client from 8i to 9i. This leads to installing the Oracle9i Developer Suite.
Here the problems started. Previous JSP developement tool was JDeveloper 3.2. When I loaded the project that was created in previous JDeveloper into the new 9i JDeveloper everything worked fine. Then I recompiled the project without changes - it worked, except some not found methods in custom Beans. Then I made some changes to JSP's and sudenly an error occured:
Error: method extraHandlePCFinally(javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext, boolean) not found in class oracle.jsp.runtime.OracleJspRuntime
I was unable to get rid of this error message, so If anybody had such an experience and solved the problem, please make a reply.
I also tried to add/remove some libraries and class paths - nothing works. I'm using the Oracle cos.jar file, which contains all needed classes, but the OracleJspRuntime does not have the extraHandlePCFinally method (what is this supposed to do anyway??).
I'd appriciate any help on this.
