Hi,
I'm planning to prepare for this certification but I'm bit confused whether I'm qualified to take this or not. Pls find below my qualifications and update me if any body has any idea abt this.
I have more than 5 yrs exp in IT and masters degree in computer science. Also I have been working in Fixed Income area for 1 year in one of the top investment banks in London. My earlier experience was in Telecom area.
Many Thanks, Sridhar.

look at the aimr website. My guess is that you will be elegible to become a charterholder but not an full member of aimr (you will be an associate).
A good chat site is http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/list.php?f=1

Thanks your help Simon. I have gone through aimr website but its confusing when it comes to work experience.
The site you gave me is very good. I found few posts on the same question.
Hope it will clarify my doubts.
Cheers, Sridhar.
