Hi,
I have jsp code that throws an exception (which I am separately trying to fix) when run on JRUN server. But the same code works if slightly changed (tailored to run as a java bean called from a java application)and run using the jdk 1.3.
But the same code when written as a bean and called from JSP running on JRUN throws an exception.
Is it possible somehow to instruct JRUN to use the JDK to run the bean code?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not an expert on JRun, but with application servers in general, you can usually instruct it what javac compiler to use to build the JSPs. The resulting code normally runs in the same JVM that's running JRun, which you should also have control of.
