You'll need to think about what information you need to store, and how it is related. You also need to think aout what what user operations are reqiured, and whether any of them form "workflows". And why JSP? Sure you may want to use Java, but you need to decide for your self whether a JSP or (for example) servlet solution is more appropriate. Try not to commit to design decisions too early in the process.
Most of this is really part of the analysis of the problem. If you don't acknowledge that you will need to do this at some time, you are destined for at least frustration and probably failure.
There are plenty of sites about designing and writing web applications in general, but to make good use of them you first need an understanding of what you are trying to achieve.

I have another question, this one more specific than the last. I am working on making a connection to an Oracle server using Java. The following code generates an error:
The error is as follows:
"Class OracleDriver not found in type declaration or import.
Class BLOB not found in type declaration or import.
Class OracleResultSet not found in type declaration or import."
How do I solve this? From my understanding, I should have an Oracle driver installed in my system. Is this correct? If so, how do I get one? I am new to Oracle as well, and am using Oracle8i. Thank you.
