Sorry I posted this in 2 topics kinda of urgent
When using sessions in Netscape the server is creating a new session everytime instead of using the old session.
my application has 3 jsp files. In the first jsp I put the objects in session and this jsp file has 2 buttons and when the user clicks on the Continue button, it takes to 2nd jsp file and if he clicks on previous button, it takes to the 3 rd jsp file.
So in the 2nd jsp file , i try to retrieve the objects in session but I am getting all null objects. I guess its creatin a new session.
Server is TOmcat 4
but everything works fine in IE but not in Netscape
I enabled the cookies in the browser but still had no luck.
I am using Netscape 6.
Thanks in Advance

First things first... please don't crosspost... it doesn't matter how "urgent" your post is... its just not right to post in more than one forum. It makes it difficult to keep one conversation going in one thread if there's more than one. :-)
Second thing... lets try a little debugging...
* Try printing out your session id on each page --
that way you'll be able to tell if you're really getting a new session or not...
HttpSession.getId()
* Or you can print out the result of this method:
HttpSession.isNew()
* Adjust your app so you're not dependent on the browser using cookies. Encode every URL with this API -- if the browser isn't using cookies, it will add the Session ID onto the URL.
HttpServletResponse.encodeURL()

Can you post the code you are using to create the session and where you are adding and getting objects from session?
