I've got a session-based tomcat application working by putting all the JSPs in the webapps/examples/jsp directory. They don't work in webapps/examples/lucidity_jsp, where they were previously. This suggests to me that Tomcat or Apache or whatever is looking specifically in that directory (webapps/examples/jsp) for cookies, and not in any other.
Does anyone know where and how this setting can be set/altered?
I'm using tomcat3.3

Cookies are stored on the client and passed back and forth to the server as requests are processed. They're not stored on the server, though a cookie may pointer to a Java Session object. The cookie matchup is done based on the URL.
