JSP and graphics  RSS feed

Hello All,
Apparently JSP does not play well with the awt/swing libraries (via a bean). I'm trying to incorporate dialog boxes (JOptionPane) in my JSP page. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Impossible.
A JSP writes HTML/Javascript to the requested page on the Server and the page is send to the client

As Chris said.
Think of JSP as a templating language. The servlet container (tomcat, resin, ...) translates your JSP into a Java servlet which is executed on the server in order to render an HTML page which is sent to the client.
Note that no Java executes on the client; therefore no Swing/AWT is possible on the client.
For client-side Java, you are relegated to applets.
