I have created a connection bean to be used by a jsp file to automatically load two html list boxes from a database.
I have also put the snipts of code that are suppose to go on the jsp on a separate jsp file which then calls the bean.
My question is, I am loosing significant performance by doing this. Using a middle jsp file to handle the snipets of code for the sake of keeping the html in the original jsp file more readable and easier to follow.
original jsp----<%@include>---second jsp ---- <jsp:usebean> --- DBConnectinBean
Thank you for your input in advance.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
