JSP- Frequent SESSION EXPIRY

Hi!
I am facing the problem of session getting expired too early. Is there any way that My session not getting expired till I request to do so? I am executing JSPs on JBOSS server.
If any one help me out I will be most thankful.

You can increase the session expiration time using HttpSession's setMaxInactiveInterval.
It is not usually a good idea to always handle invalidation manually. What happens if someone closes the browser without leaving the site? You would have abandoned sessions lying around wasting space.
