Hi,
When I use Custom Tags in JSP, when the JSP is converted to servlet class, does the custom tag implementation is relaced in the place of Tags??
If so what happens if I change the implementation?
If not then everytime the JSP is requested, it refers to the custom tag implementation??
Thanks for the time.

The generated servlet code will have replaced your tablib XML tags with the appropriate method calls to com.foobar.taglibs.MyForLoopTag#doStartTag(), etc.
Now, if you change the taglib implementation class, it's up to your web container's classloaders to figure out which version of the class to use.

If its replacing the XML tags with java code for method calls, at the end of the day its just like calling Java Bean. The implementation result will be obtained during runtime. So I need not worry about my application servers way of handling the custom tags.
Am I right??
Cheers.
