Hi everybody...
I am developign an web applicaction using JDBCRealm for security, but I am having a problem with the log out feature, I have tried:
response.setHeader("Cache-Control","no-cache");
response.setHeader("Pragma","no-cache");
response.setDateHeader ("Expires", 0);
response.setStatus(response.SC_UNAUTHORIZED);
response.setDateHeader("Expires","0");
HttpSession sessionid = request.getSession(false);
sessionid.invalidate();

But the user is still log in, even I close the browser and restart the server and the user es logged in!!! I have to restart de PC where the server is running to the browser ask me for authentification again!
Some body could help me?
thanks...

Nevermind. I see you're using http authentication -- never done this.

"Hernando",
The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp.
We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please edit your profile and select a new name which meets the requirements.
With respect to you question, which server are you using? Given 'JDBCRealm' I'm assuming Tomcat, but you don't specify it.
Thanks.
Dave
