Hi folks!
I'm new to this forum, thought this would be the right place for my questions...
I've an InsertForm(HTML) and a JSP File to send
the information (of the InsertForm) to my DB (PostgreSQL).
Well, all works fine with that. The only function i've to add is a
"Datatyp-Test-Routine" who checks if the data is alpha or numeric or alphanumeric.
We've 3 Fields
Name: alphanumeric (variable)
Location: alphanumeric (variable)
Room: alpha
So i want a JSP Snippet in my HTML-File (InsertForm) who checks if in Field Room is entered a number NOT a letter.
I tried to figger it out with an Exception definition like:

So with which u could replace "JAVA" of ".equals" so that he does not only check JAVA nore if there's typed in a number.
Anyone knows what i mean?
So u got a solution for me?
W R I T E I T D O W N !

regards Thomas
