hi folks,
When i read any article about JSP, always find an introduction as a technology for generating dynamic web content. now, what i am having a problem here is very fundamnetal. what is the difference between static content and dynamic content? what makes an HTML page as a static page and how a JSP page is dynamic? it would be really a great help if some one could explain in simple way that i could understand.
thanks.

Static means the data being displayed either never changes, or only changes rarely. It's just simple HTML markup with text and graphics that are loaded each time the page is requested. Here's an example of a static page:
www.javaranch.com
Dynamic content means it changes with time. The page is generated in response to user data, or other parameters that determine what data to display. Here's an example of a dynamic page:
www.cnn.com
Look at each page today, then look at them tomorrow. What are the differences between each of them when you look at them both days?
