Hello,
Does any one know a third party component that can implement editable grid? The component needs to have at least the following items:
1. Edit a cell
2. Delete row
3. Add row
4. Keep running total
Thanks
Suresh

Is there a reason you don't use a JTable? It can do all of these things, as long as you are a little patient with it. Actually it's not too difficult to do any of these things.
You can use a standard editor (check box for BOOLEAN, text field or drop-down list for numeric or string values) or write your own custom editor. You can add rows or columns dynamically, and show or no-show columns. And if you want totals, then if there are N rows of *real* data you tell it that there are N+1 rows and when the data for that row is requested you pass back the totals where appropriate.
Check out the Sun TABLE tutorial.

Perhaps you didn't notice that this was posted in the JSP forum?

Thanks for your replies. The reason is 'time'. I need to get this done quickly. So I am looking for short cuts!
