Hi,
I have a jsp page, a java bean in which the sql queries are written and an oracle datatbase and weblogic server
when a new row is added in the datbase how do i get the jsp page to reflect it on the web page,the query being the same?
do i need to reload the jsp page,do i need to restart the server?
please help me out with this.
also, can you suggest a nice web site on weblogic and its basics..?

You can find helpful information about WebLogic at http://edocs.bea.com/platform/docs81/intro/introplat2.html
For help with your specific question, a little uml or some sample code might help. Usually you use an html page to collect data, a javabean or servlet to manage the insertion of this data into the database, and a jsp page to display the newly added row of data.
html --> data collection
on submit, call javabean
javabean --> 1. insert sql
2. select sql
jsp --> display data based on select sql
There's plenty of examples of this all over the web. Good luck.

Hi,
I think you cannot do anything else than reload the page.
Regards, Miro.
