yes we can include a jsp file in an html file.. but we just need to remember the syntax to include them
like we can have a simple html file with a jsp tag
<html>
<body>
<%
this is a simple jsp file
%%>
</body>
</html>
and try to run it in the explorer:
http://localhost:8080/yourfilename.html
what exactly are u looking for?

Actually, you cannot.
There is no include mechanism at all in HTML so there is no possibility of including any kind of page, including JSP.
Now, if you have "server-side includes" enabled by your web server, it might be possible to include JSP pages and have them processed by a servlet container. But that would depend upon the configuration capabilities of your server.
So, backing up a bit. What are you trying to accomplish in the first place?
