Offshoring IT jobs are expected to accelerate
So try and be more like a manager? No pony tails and AC/DC T-shirts.

James McGovern - wasn't he the guy who got some adverse e-mails regarding some tasteless self-promotion of his book on Amazon ?
If programming isn't I wonder what is
Agile Manifesto from th eAgile link above suggests otherwise.

Accounting - Bear in mind that traditional wisdom is long on tradition but short on wisdom." I don't know who said that.
John Maynard Keynes said "The difficulty lies not in the new ideas but escaping the old ones"
BTW I don't understand how time-share villas work and fractional aircraft ownership and I doubt that accountants I know do either. I suppose the latter is like car leasing but the leasing period must be small for small aircraft.

You need an accountant who a) loves gamesmanship; and/or b) takes what the IRS does personally.
Aside from just playing with dollars underneath the threshold of the IRS' concern, most advanced accounting "tricks" have do with leveraging one set of rules on another.
A service business like mine, which is really very simple, has little capital to speak of and moves a lot a cash, is essentially the kind of all-day sucker the IRS is looking for. Without buildings or jets or other "working capital" to hide various costs, and a big enough cash flow/transaction volume to mask any underlying monkey business, service businesses either spend a lot on "entertainment" or (these days) buy big-ass SUVs with large gross vehicle weight allowances to declare "costs of doing business" and rapid depreciation, respectively. Just about every oither trick is something you think the IRS won't bother with. Rotsa ruck.
A really crafty (and well-paid) accountant probably has some experience with IRS procedures and knows where the seams are.

Yeah.
Good Will Accounting! I now remember some developer who used to charter and fly a small team out, in a small aircraft out of LA (London Airport) to work in Scotland/Europe. That would be similar to fractional aircraft leasing IMO.
