jsp:include ... flush="true"... ?why flush??  RSS feed

why are we using flush=true?
OK, it causes the original jsp page to send its output stream to the client. this is ok?
so what? it is committed at this point. so we cannot change any headers etc, in the included page.
say orig.jsp includes i1.jsp, i2.jsp, and servlet1 servlet. AND for ex. i1.jsp still includes i3.jsp , with i2.jsp forwarding to i5.jsp..
WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW? with flush being set to true? and with false?
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
