Hello All,
Not sure if I have to post it here or in HTML forum.
I have a jsp program in which I have to display the image from a different server( say for example http://abc.com/images/). I know the filename but I dont know the extension( can be either tif or gif not both). Can any one suggest mechanism to display the file without using the javascript.
Thanks much.
Adithi

If you are going to hardcode the URL then can't you just try seaking
the image by typing the URL and add both gif and tif? whan you got the picture you just go

If you wan't to try both gif , tif , jpg , bmp I suggest you do this via javascript or a servlet.
