can any one clear me the technical difference between JSP and Servlets.

Anshul, this is a very common question that has been asked and answered many times in these forums. Perform a search through this forum as well as the Servlets forum and you will find lots of great info.

Hi Anshul!!
Our name are quite similar.
As far as the most basic use is concerend, the
Servlets are the server extension, while the jsp
is used for presentation purpose. JSP includes
snippet along with HTML formatting. And, yes every JSP is
finally compiled to the servlet
