web-site design issue  RSS feed

I have a web-site i am trying to get a java menu to work, however it only says loading when I upload it, need some feed back please site is www.rolandsaudio.com, I am very new so please keep it in simple(stuip) language, thanks in adavnce..

The menu appears, but I am not too fond of the bg in that menu, does not flow with the background on the rest of the site. I personally am not into using a Java Based menu on a website when you can use a JavaScript one that does not require loading, but then again I do not use Java.
People can not say what your site is truely about until you actaully have content on it.

I agree with Eric and would rethink the choice of technologies in favor of DHTML over applets.

I'd add that something as important as site navigation should never be left to flakey technology like an applet (or even DHTML) which a user can disable or misconfigure, or browser vendors can screw with.
Please always, ALWAYS, offer basic HTML links as navigation in addition to any fanciness. Reason 1 is that real users and real browsers can screw it up. Reason 2 is that search engines will not bother to follow links hidden in scripts or applets, so your site will never get indexed, and you will get little or no visitors.
Of course, if you want your site to remain a secret ...
