I'm really new to java programming and I would really like to know how do you navigate your Next and Previous button using java programming?
i have a few images that i have to display, i was required to display the images page by page by clicking the Next/Previous button. everywhere i looked i can only find information using javascript but im only allowed to use pure java programming....please help...its giving me a headache!!

It would seem to me that you are perhaps confusing Java with JavaScript. Java is a programming language. JavaScript is (mostly) a scripting language used on web pages and interpretted by the user's browser.
I'm moving this to the HTML and JavaScript forum...

If you can not use JavaScript I am guessing you are using JSP...
Basically you just need to post information back and deal with it from there.
