OK. I found mailer.tld on a vivisimo search.

But when I try to use it, I get the error:
Looks like it's missing MailTag.class. I followed the easy 3-step configuration. I put bcel-5.1.jar into /WEB-INF/lib. Is Mailer.class not found in bcel-5.1.jar?

All right. So I opened up bcel-5.1.jar and looked for MailTag.class.
Guess what? MailTag.class isn't there. So I rooted around for the mailer.tld file and when I found it, it requires a class that isn't in the jar file I have.
Is there a package I can d/l? By package, I mean:

1) all the necessary files for running the software
2) instructions on how to do so

A lot to ask from any apache group, I know.

Granted that the Jakarta site is a bit Byzantine, but I was able to find everything needed within about 5 minutes at:
http://www.unixsoft.org/apache/jakarta/taglibs/mailer/binaries/
Enjoy!
